Amy Powell

My name is Amy Powell, Arts & Event's Production Coordinator. When I graduated from Sonoma State in 2007 with a BA in Communication Studies I found myself immersed in the world of summer festivals nationwide. As the summer came to a close, I was determined to pursue a career in event production because it would allow me success, a way to stimulate positive change, and, most importantly, enjoy my life!

Within Arts & Events I will be working with our volunteer outreach committees to build a larger A&E volunteer community, I will help produce cultural events for UCSF and the greater San Francisco community, and I will continue to keep UCSF events fresh and enticing for our diverse and educated population.
