The Chancellor's Advisory Committee On Child Care (CACCC)

Established in May 2001 by UCSF Chancellor J. Michael Bishop, the committee, led by Chairperson Diane Wara, MD - Associate Dean of Women and Minority Affairs, evaluates current child care needs and identifies goals and action plans for future campus planning. The committee includes a broad range of members from the four schools, campus administration, and UCSF Medical Center.

Appointed by the Chancellor, CACSW examines issues regarding the status of women at UCSF. Representing a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students, the committee analyzes existing policies, procedures, and programs as they relate to the needs of women and parents on campus.
The Institute On Aging (IOA)

The Institute on Aging assists seniors living independently in the community and provides the UCSF community with elder care referrals. For more than 15 years, the IOA has enriched the lives of the elderly through home care, comprehensive medical care, and research programs.
