Transportation Services was recognized in 2009 by the EPA for making UCSF “One of the Best Workplaces for Commuters.”

In addition to free shuttles, the department also oversees parking, vanpools, a bus club, and a pre-tax program that helps cushion the ride. Transportation Services has also partnered with the online carpooling website, Zimride, to help students, staff, and faculty coordinate their commutes to various UCSF locations.
