Aldea Center on Mount Sutro FAQs
Are private events held at the Aldea Center on Mount Sutro?
At this time, the center provides services to UCSF departments, registered student organizations, and Aldea San Miguel tenants.
Is audio-visual equipment available?
We are excited to have state of the art AV equipment in the center.
Do you offer catering?
We will be happy to give you suggestions from the approved UCSF caterers list. If you have another caterer you’d like to use, as long as they meet the insurance requirements of the University, they can be used.
What does the rental price include?
Rental costs include in-house tables and chairs, set-up, breakdown, and clean-up for your event. Also included: Our AV System and sound system.
Linens, any additional tables rentals and catering are additional expenses.
Is alcohol allowed?
We welcome the inclusion of beer, wine, and/or champagne at your event. We just ask that UCSF Departments, RCOs and Tenants follow the UC Alcohol Guidelines. http://policies.ucsf.edu/policy/200-31
What hours are the facilities available?
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-7:00 pm.
Are there computer/internet connections in the center?
Yes. Wireless internet connection is available.
Is parking available?
We encourage parking in the Parnassus campus garage, then taking a short ride on the free UCSF Bronze shuttle to and from the Aldea Center. A pass may be required to ride the shuttle. When booking the Aldea Center you will receive more details about parking and shuttle passes.
