Event Set-ups

Having a special event? We provide setup and/or cleanup services. Please submit your request at least one week in advance. Services are provided on rechargeable basis of $66.93 per hour. Set-ups requested on short notice is not guaranteed, and if service is provided, an extra charge may incur.
Please include the following information in the description field when you submit a service request:
• Date of event
• Set-up time
• Break-down time
• Number of applicable items: tables, chairs, bins (trash, recycling, compost), easels
We provide 6’ ft rectangular tables, folding chairs, bins (trash, recycling, and compost), and easels at Parnassus, Mission Bay, and Laurel Heights campuses only.
Please note that we do not provide round tables (except at Laurel Heights Campus), table linens, or cocktail tables.
Set-up charges are based on delivery, set-up, and break-down time—not on the total rental period the tables, chairs, bins, and/or easels are used.
Setups can include provision of tables, chairs, easels, extra recycling and refuse bins. Also, we provide cleaning services before, during, or after the event.
If a specific configuration is required, please add your diagram as an attachment to your service request.
To be eligible to reserve a room at UCSF, you must be a UCSF Department, Registered Campus Organization (RCO), or an approved non-profit and non-university organization in compliance with special reservation policies.

If your event is scheduled to start or end after-hours or on a weekend, please submit a separate facilities request for After-Hours Door Access, providing details:
Please submit your After-Hours Access request at least (5) business days in advance. Your request will need to be reviewed and approved by UCPD before the Lockshop can grant special access.
