What is the typical workday? M-F, 7am to 5pm (possibly as late as 8pm), Noisier work greater than 80- decibels, will be occur after 8:30am. Saturdays from 8am-5pm. Notice will be provided for extended work schedules. No work will be approved on Sundays.
When will construction begin? Construction, which includes erecting a fence is scheduled to begin as early as June 26, 2017. The construction phase will include fencing the properties of 590/600 Minnesota Street, followed by abatement, demolition, and construction.
When will it open? Estimated opening is summer 2019.
How many more units will the Minnesota Housing complex provide? 595 units for up to 768 tenants, comprised of: 381 efficiency units , 103 studio units, and 111 two-bedroom units.
What kind of amenities and features will the complex have? Each unit will be furnished. Plans are underway to potentially provide:

• Ample study space
• Fitness center
• Social & community gathering space
• Walking distance to UCSF Mission Bay campus
• Access to MUNI and UCSF shuttle service
• Bike parking
• Tenant Rideshare vehicles
I need housing for the 2017-2018 school year. What do I do? Visit the UCSF Housing website to check eligibility requirements and to learn more about the application process.
Will there be parking? Tenants living at 590 and 600 Minnesota Streets will not be eligible to get a neighborhood parking permit nor will they be able to secure a permit to park in the garage. If bringing a car to campus is a priority for you, please select to live at Mission Bay or at Aldea San Miguel.
I have a family. Will Minnesota Street be a good choice for me? Are family allowed to apply? Minnesota Housing is designed for UCSF students and trainees without children. We have ample family housing at Aldea San Miguel (Parnassus campus) and Mission Bay Housing.
